1 Who we are

Eventgram is operated by Suhib Abbaas, a sole proprietor in Amman, Jordan. We are responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email info@eventgram.io.

2 Payments — we never see your card details

All payments for Eventgram are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record and reseller. Paddle collects and processes your payment information directly. We never receive, see, or store your card number or any payment credentials.

From Paddle we receive limited order information — typically your name, email address, country, and what you bought — which we use to deliver your event page and keep tax and accounting records. Paddle’s own privacy policy governs their handling of your data and is available at paddle.com/privacy (opens in a new tab).

3 What we collect

From the buyer: your name and email address, the event details you send us (event type, date, names, wording, any photos you supply), and correspondence with us.

From guests: photos, written messages, and any name a guest chooses to display when adding to an event page.

If a guest replies to an invitation: their name, whether they’re coming and how many are in their party. The page remembers the reply on that device so the guest can change it.

Automatically: standard server logs from our hosting provider, such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the service running.

If you tick the optional box when you add your event’s details, after paying, we also record that you’d like to hear from us by email. It is never pre-ticked, and leaving it alone changes nothing.

5 How we use data

We use this information to generate and host your event page, to communicate with you about your order, to respond to support and deletion requests, and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. If you ticked that box, we may also email you occasionally about Eventgram itself. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing info@eventgram.io, and we will. We never add guests to that list, and we never add you to it without that tick. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use guest photos or messages for marketing or promotion without explicit written permission.

6 Who we share it with

We share data only with providers who help us run the service: Paddle (payments and order processing), Vercel (website and event page hosting), our email provider, and third-party cloud hosting and storage providers used to store uploaded photos and messages. These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes.

7 How long we keep it

Event pages and all content on them — including guest photos and messages — are kept until 12 months after the event date, then deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion or an extension at any time.

Order and tax records provided by Paddle are kept for as long as required by law.

8 Deletion and access requests

Anyone — a buyer or a guest — can ask us to delete or provide a copy of their personal data by emailing info@eventgram.io. A guest can ask us to remove their own photo or message from an event page. We respond within 30 days.

9 Children

Eventgram is not directed at children. If a guest under 16 appears in content on an event page, the buyer is responsible for having the consent of that child’s parent or guardian. Contact us and we will remove such content on request.

10 International transfers

Our providers operate servers outside Jordan, so your data may be stored and processed in other countries. We choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

11 Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold, but no online service can be completely secure.

12 Changes

We may update this policy. The version in effect on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.

13 Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Jordan. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes any mandatory data protection or consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
